E-Case™ iSeries™ wins OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD

E-Case, the Seattle-based market leader in submersible electronics cases, announced it has won an OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD for its new iSeries cases for iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPod nano® devices, at the 2012 European OutDoor Trade Fair. The iSeries collection of waterproof, submersible cases was recognized for its design quality and functionality.

The iSeries cases provide guaranteed submersible, waterproof protection in sensible, savvy designs. High-clarity windows allow unrestricted use of the device’s touchscreen, camera and voice functions through the case. And cases tailored to the iPad and iPhone/iPod feature a headphone jack, allowing full use of Apple® headphones and microphone—regardless of the environment.

E-Case products are made in Seattle, where the wet weather, lakes and ocean provide the ideal environment for waterproof product testing. The cases’ easy-to-use SealLockâ„¢ zipper closures are dual-track and interlocking to provide guaranteed submersible protection. And every E-Case case is individually tested to ensure that it meets the IPX7 electronics-industry standard of withstanding submersion in one meter of water for 30 minutes. Finally, the cases feature die-cut lash points that allow users to safely tether their device to their gear, packs or apparel on adventures.

The new E-Case iSeries cases will be shown at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, USA. The line is currently available in limited colors at retail stores under the SealLine® brand but will emerge under the new E-Case™ brand in January 2013.
