Eagle Creek kicks off their annual food drive, supporting the North County Food Bank (www.northcountyfoodbank.org) in an effort to help feed North County San Diego families.
In its 12th year, the annual Eagle Creek food drive continues to generate the largest donation of food and money the North County Food Bank receives each year. Over the last six years, Eagle Creek has collected, more than 262,000 pounds of food and over $20,000 dollars.
Eagle Creek urges the community to get involved with the drive through their parking lot sale on December 7-8th. Anyone who brings 10 to 20 pounds of food will received 10% off their entire purchase. Those who bring over 20 pounds will receive 20% off their entire purchase.
“Our goal this year is to provide as much food as possible to those who need it in north San Diego county,†said Steve Barker, president of Eagle Creek. “With the recent fires, we expect there are many San Diegans this holiday season who need food, and we’re urging the community to join our employees, friends, and business associates in meeting these needs.â€
