Early Bird Registration Opens for Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2012
New for this year’s show attendees will pick up their badges onsite instead of receiving them in the mail
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. – April 11, 2012 – Today, retail, designer and distributor attendees can register online to participate in the outdoor industry’s premier trade show and demo event, Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2012, August 2-5, preceded by the Open Air Demo on August 1.
During Outdoor Retailer Summer Market approximately 25,000 manufacturers, retailers, designers and advocates representing multiple categories across the outdoor industry will converge on Utah’s Wasatch Front for product testing at Jordanelle State Park and for exhibitions and seminars at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.
As part of OR’s Green Steps Program and other initiatives to enhance the overall show experience, badges will not be mailed to attendees pre-show. Instead, attendees will be able to pick up their badges at the Open Air Demo and at the east and west entrances of the Salt Palace Convention Center.
Similar to checking in for a flight, attendees will be able to print their registration confirmation at home, bring their ID and a business card to the show, and print their badge onsite at the Convention Center. Attendees will also be able to download their confirmation to their smartphones, which can then be scanned onsite.
Discounted Early Bird registration extends through July 2, 2012 and ensures attendees will receive all the pre-show information necessary to fully plan for and meet their business objectives for the show, including the ability to log into the online Summer Market Planner when it becomes available later in this month.
