BOULDER, CO (May 26, 2009) – On Wednesday, June 10, from 2:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. (MDT) Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) will present Easy PR Tips for Summer Successa live Webinar workshop designed to provide retailers with the essential tactics needed to build and deepen relationships with local media, and maximize tight marketing budgets.

Presented by Drew Simmons of Pale Morning Media, Easy PR Tips for Summer Success will demonstrate how to maximize the reach of any event with a few easy basics such as:

  • Crafting news releases
  • Identifying appropriate media
  • Delivering your news release
  • Using social media such as Facebook and Twitter to build a community of store advocates
  • Creating events specifically to draw the attention of media
