Emotion Kayaks Announces Title Sponsorship of Schuylkill River Sojourn
Emotion Kayaks, manufacturer of exceptional recreational kayaks and accessories, announces the title sponsorship of the Schuylkill River Sojourn.
The Schuylkill River Sojourn is a 113 mile guided canoe or kayak trip on the Schuylkill River. Beginning in Schuylkill Haven and ending in Philadelphia, Sojourn participants register for as many days as they can, or for the entire trip. There is a little bit of everything in store for canoers and kayakers who take part in the weeklong sojourn down the Schuylkill River that begins the first weekend of June. And though the same route is paddled every year, a different river is evident each year.
“It’s a great event, a bunch of fun and it supports conservation in our back yard,” says Tom Strauss, President of Emotion Kayaks. “We’ve been involved with them on a few levels and are really glad to be able to bring it to the major level.”
The Schuylkill River National & State Heritage Area is managed by the Schuylkill River Greenway Association (SRGA), a 501(c) 3 non-profit. For more information about the event and the area, visit their website: http://www.schuylkillriver.org.
