EMU blends natural and innovative materials in this season’s collection, drawing inspiration from a woman’s desire to harmoniously combine fashion and function throughout her day.
EMU’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection uses the brand’s own Australian coast as its muse, capturing the colors and natural elements of the landscape and water’s edge. The collection marks EMU’s full-scale entry into year-round product offerings from lightweight and breathable sheepskin boots to graceful flats, sandals and heels. The Spring line consists of five collections: Highrise, Balance, Sarina, Meadow and Beach. Each collection offers a fresh perspective on footwear, from heels that are made for enduring city adventures to athletic-inspired sandals that mirror the growth of active fashion. The evolution of the brand can be seen through these new silhouettes that exemplify the true spirit of adventure and naturally refined comfort and style.
The High Rise Collection, consisting of the Dawn and Dame styles, is EMU’s approach to a heel that combines both comfort and crafted details. The construction is set apart from others with the styles’ wrapped molded EVA footbed cushion that allows women to adventure from day-to-night with ease. EMU’s High Rise Collection has a slim silhouette with organic, feminine lines that hug the foot, and has a naturally durable rubber heel and forefront pod for extra traction. The Dawn features a contrast ankle strap that gives the neutral shoe a vibrant color accent. With ankle boot proportions, the Dame is made of perforated leather and cutaways that have a cross season appeal. Offered in black, hazelnut and silver, there are options to dress up and down.
The athletic-inspired Balance Collection promotes wellness and has sophisticated details that tap into a renewed sense of mind and body. Lightweight and versatile, the Balance Collection ranges from sandals to booties and features a lightweight EVA cork mix midsole with arc-shaped flex grooves throughout for maximum comfort. Additionally, each style has a wrapped, contoured EVA footbed and natural gum rubber molded outsole for traction and support. In the sandal category, EMU has created a relaxed aesthetic with pops of color that are taken from the seasonal inspiration of land and water. The Karri, Yarra, and Jerrawa styles have a classic yet modern shape that make them perfect to wear throughout the season. The Meroo slip-on and Numerella ankle boot are both made with nubuck leather and are perforated for a cooling effect that is ideal for transitional and warmer weather.
The Sarina Collection is made for springtime elements with waterproof leather and suedes that have a protective gloss TPU toe and heel panel for extra protection and durability. The perfect ballet flat shapes feature a molded EVA cushioning layer with a wrapped foam topsheet for support at key pressure points. They also have razorcut forefoot pods for extra traction on wet surfaces. With two styles, the Sarina Ballet and the Sarina Strap, EMU provides a fresh twist to combatting April showers.
EMU’s Meadow Collection includes boot and sandals that are made for the outdoors, marrying style and utility. The stacked heel features a hi-rebound EVA construction with durable rubber tread, providing lightness, comfort and traction. The relaxed silhouettes are created with a mix of premium leathers that enhance durability. The clog-inspires Sherbrooke style features a burnished leather in both black and tan. The Mariala is an elevated sandal with metallic accents and modern cut-outs. The Willandra style has an open weave canvas foldover, serving as the ultimate spring boot.
The Beach Collection uses a new sheepskin boot silhouette influenced by EMU’s heritage. Directly inspired by the ocean, a new rubber outsole pattern radiates lines that represent the constant ebb and flow of the Australian shore. An EVA midsole wedge

provides stability needed for all-day wear, and a sculpted instep molds to the foot beautifully over time. In relaxing neutral tones, the Tiona and Taria styles deliver ankle boots with breathability and ease.
