ASHEVILLE, NC (November 1, 2013) – EORA hostedit’s annual Board of Directors meeting in Baltimore, MD October 22nd and 23rd.Michael Schmidt, President of EORA, presided over the meeting.In attendance was Norman Pitt from the Southeast, Andy Molter, Kevin Brew and John Phaneuf from the Mid-Atlantic region then Bill Pelkey and Natalie Darmohraj along with Michael representing the New England region for EORA.
EORA is a support system for the traveling sales rep. We’re here to aid in communication, promotion and expansion of the outdoor community to consumers and retailers.
We host TEN trade shows per year in the eastern US covering 22 states between Maine to Florida.
EORA began in 1979 by a handful of diligent representatives based up and down the east coast. The association was incorporated in New York as one of the founding figures had an office in the same building as an attorney. Back then, we had less than 50 members and one part time staff member.
Today the association boasts over 490 members, two full time professional staff members, one part-time staff member, produces ten regional trade shows and service over 2,200 retailers.
