Manchester, N.H. — Eureka!, an innovator in camping equipment for over 100 years, is proud to sponsor the world-famous TransRockies Run, a 6-day trail running stage race from Buena Vista to Beaver Creek, Colorado. As a primary partner, Eureka! will provide the TransRockies Run with 450 new tents over the next 3 years, creating an official Eureka! Basecamp and Chillville relaxation area.
The TransRockies Run is a multi-day point-to-point trail running race that allows athletes to access and traverse wild and fantastic scenery, while building camaraderie, overcoming adversity and sharing a singular adventure. It covers a distance of 120 miles with over 20,000 feet of elevation gain.
Following each day’s stage runners will camp together in the Eureka! Basecamp, sharing communal meals and creating lifelong friendships. Eureka! will provide Midori 2 and Midori 3 tents, chosen for their waterproofness, durability, and ease of setup. The Eureka! Basecamp will feature catered meals, the “Chillville” relaxation area, shower truck, massage, and nightly awards and entertainment.
