eVent® fabrics Announces Robert Muscat as General Manager

eVent® fabrics announced that Robert “Bob” Muscat has joined the team as general manager.

The eVent fabrics division is a highly motivated team of industry professionals maintaining a singular focus: the design and development of uniquely venting membranes. eVent fabrics has built a strong reputation as an exceptionally breathable, highly-functional waterproof laminate technology with a very loyal following.

“Bob brings a wealth of strategic marketing and industry experience to our growing eVent fabrics team,” said Jim Lenox, global product line leader for eVent fabrics. “In his new role, Bob will work to drive expansion and strategic new product introduction across the business.”

Muscat comes to eVent fabrics from Rock-Tenn Company, where he was a vice president of marketing for the manufacturer of paperboard, packaging and display products. Prior to Rock-Tenn, he served as a strategic marketing leader a strategic marketing leader within the Industrial Products Division at W. L. Gore and Associates, manufacturer of consumer and industrial fabrics.

Muscat earned a bachelor of mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master of science in management from Georgia State University, as well as a master’s in business administration from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business.

Muscat will be based in Kansas City, Mo.
