Evolv Expands Chris Sharma Signature Series
Buena Park, CA (July 21, 2011) – Evolv has announced that it is expanding the Sharma Signature Series line of climbing shoes. The new models will include the Prime SC, Prime Lace, a revised Pontas, the Geshido and the Geshido SC. These new models join the Shaman in the series line-up to create an entirely new or revised line-up.
“In addition to the Shaman, which is our most advanced climbing shoe model to date, the Sharma Signature Series encompasses the pinnacle of our line, and all of the shoes Chris has helped develop” says Evolv CEO, Brian Chung.
“We are adding models to the line because Chris has wanted a quiver of shoes for different types of climbing, and the new and revised models fill that void for him, the other members of our team and our customers.” Says Jay Peery, Evolv’s Director of Sales.
Chris Sharma says, “The Shaman’s are amazing shoes! They were worth all of the time and effort we put in to developing them.The Geshido came out of that same process and these models take evolv to a new level. With the Geshido, I am psyched to have a more versatile shoe for vertical to slightly overhanging terrain – something that could perform equally well at Smith Rocks, multi-pitch in the valley or working a project in Oliana.”
The Chris Sharma Signature Series of climbing shoes is currently available at retail. Evolv’s full line, including the new 2012 products can be seen at the ORSM in booth #1033.
