January 5, 2011 (Buena Park, CA) – Footwear manufacturer evolv Sports announced today the addition of Emily Harrington as the newest climbing team member.
A Boulder, Colorado native, Emily is an accomplished rock climber and competitor. In 2005, she finished 2nd in the Sport Climbing World Championships In 2006, she was named Female Climber of the Year at the Teva Mountain Games and the following year Emily was the 2nd American female to climb 5.14b. She served as a USA Athlete Representative at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy, and represented the Access Fund as Youth Ambassador from 2003 to 2006 and currently serves as a National Ambassador for the Access Fund.
