 Evolv Sports Celebrates 10 Years of Innovation

Buena Park, CA (July 8, 2013) – Evolv Sports announces its tenth anniversary and a celebration of a decade of designing and manufacturing innovative climbing and approach footwear.

“We had big goals for what the Evolv brand would become from the beginning,” says Brian Chung, co-founder and CEO of Evolv. “The reality of where the last ten years have taken us has far exceeded any expectations and we thank all of our dealers and industry friends for their trust and support. With the direction our product is going and the phenomenal team we have here at Evolv, I am incredibly excited about the coming ten years for our brand. ”

The “Evolv X” party on Thursday, August 1st from 4:45-6:45pm at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market tradeshow will celebrate this benchmark anniversary. All trade show attendees are invited to join the party. Evolv will host with free beer and opportunities to meet and have posters signed by Evolv’s elite ambassadors including Chris Sharma, Daila Ojeda, Steph Davis, Peter Croft, and Lisa Rands.

Along with the “Evolv X” party, the brand will be showing four new shoes at the trade show including the Addict, the Addict SC, the Axiom, and a new Chris Sharma Signature Shoe, the Nexxo.

“The line is strong, diverse and we will continue the evolution of providing cutting edge, high performance technology for climbers,” says Linh Nguyen, Evolv Product Line Manager. Mike Turner, Sales Director at Evolv also reflects on the anniversary, “It has taken a dedicated and collective team effort to bring us to the successful place we are today. We want to acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of every member of the team during our Evolv X celebration.”
