Evolv Sports Marks 10th Anniversary with Launch of Four Innovative Climbing Shoes

Buena Park, CA (July 24, 2013) – Evolv Sports will debut four new and innovative climbing shoes at the Outdoor Retailer Tradeshow in commemoration of their 10th anniversary.

With collaboration from elite athlete Chris Sharma, Evolv introduces the latest in the Sharma series, the ultra-high performance Nexxo. The Nexxo represents a revolution in how Evolv constructs shoes through the thoughtful use of a combination of specific materials and technologies. Utilizing leather in the mid-foot and heel, the Nexxo offer comfort in fit. The synthetic, microfiber-lined forefoot provides structure for powerful performance. Featuring their new Evolv Power System technology, a combination of midsoles and outsoles are used to retain shape and provide more tension to maximize performance and power.

Rounding out the line and providing exceptional versatility, the Addict, Addict SC and the Axiom are designed for all-around use on all types of rock from Jtree slab to Indian Creek crack. Semi-symmetrical and with leather construction, these shoes will conform to the climber’s foot and provide all-day comfort.

The unique Addict slipper was designed for climbers who want a smooth, foot-conforming shoe that offers strong technical performance. The shoe features 3-piece rand and arch band that provide unique features in a slipper including optimized fit and greater stability for precision while edging. The Addict SC shares features of the slipper with the inclusion of Velcro closures for adjustable fit and convenience. The Axiom offers all-day comfort in its lace-up construction.

Evolv will be highlighting new product at their booth, #1033, during the Outdoor Retailer Tradeshow and will have the shoes available at retail in early fall. The new line will retail at $99 for the Addict, $115 for the Addict, $125 for the Axiom, and $145 for the Nexxo.
