ExOfficio, Manzella, Karhu and Tubbs Resurrect Industry Bowl-A-Rama

Steve Bendzak, with ExOfficio and Tony Manzella of Manzella Gloves, two of the originating creators of the famed event, are bringing the Bowl-A-Rama back to Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City to help raise funds for OIWC.

Tukwila, WA – For those who remember the days when OR was in Reno, you may recall the Outdoor Retailer Bowl-A-Rama, held in the basement of the Reno Hilton, as being one of the more memorable industry bashes.

After many years, Steve Bendzak, with ExOfficio and Tony Manzella of Manzella Gloves, two of the originating creators of the famed event, have decided to bring the Bowl-A-Rama back to Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City to help raise funds for the Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition.

ExOfficio and Manzella have secured the AMF Ritz Classic Bowling Lanes www.amf.com for Thursday, January 24th, from 8pm to midnight. A $10 fee will cover shoe and lane rental, plus the first few hundred guests will receive a free ExOfficio bowling shirt and additional giveaways. Product packages from all event sponsors will be raffled off throughout the evening. All proceeds will benefit OIWC.

Invitations to the Bowl-A-Rama can be picked up at OIWC, Manzella, Karhu, Tubbs and ExOfficio Outdoor Retailer booths on Thursday, the second day of the show.

“The Bowl-A-Rama is an opportunity to enjoy a show evening with friends, raise some funds for a great cause, and take a breather from the brew spillin’ and crowded parties throughout other evenings” said Bendzak.

“We are looking forward to bringing this bowling party back – sharing stories and laughs with the outdoor industry folks,” said Manzella. “We are also ready to show our friends at ExOfficio who really knows how to bowl.”
