Fabrice Faurie Joins IMG as new VP Licensing

IMG Worldwide, the premier global sports, entertainment and media company, announced today that Fabrice Faurie has joined the company as Vice President, Licensing, working within IMG’s Worldwide Licensing Business Unit, the largest independent licensing agency in the world as ranked by License Magazine.
Fabrice joins IMG from the world’s luggage market leader Samsonite, where he was Global Marketing Director for the Casual and Outdoor/Sport Categories responsible for all operational and strategic activities, including portfolio definition, product development, regional sales structures, marketing and new business development. The function included the global oversight of the Timberland worldwide license for bags, accessories and small leather goods, as well as several other Samsonite golf and sport licenses.
Fabrice holds both a Bachelor in Business Law and an MBA from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has extensive experience working in business and product development notably in the outdoor and sport industry. Before Samsonite, he worked for Camelbak, the world leader in hydration systems and backpacks as European Sales and Product Manager where he helped develop the brand in international markets with strong distribution agreements, marketing programs and product innovation.
