Mt. Airy, NC, February 24, 2016 – Farm to Feet, makers of 100% American socks, has extended its relationship with Bassmaster Elite Series and Major League Fishing professional Andy Montgomery for the 2016 fishing season. Montgomery, of Blacksburg, S.C., will continue to wear Farm to Feet socks exclusively and the brand will be featured prominently on his boat and jersey.

“There are few guys on the tour who can fish docks as well as Andy, he’s one talented fisherman,” said Marty Nester, CEO of Nester Hosiery the parent company of Farm to Feet. “We’re proud to have Andy on our team again this year and we look forward to a season full of monster bags.”

Montgomery is coming off another solid year of fishing in the Bassmaster Elite Series and Major League Fishing. After qualifying for last year’s Bassmaster Classic, he finished the 2015 season just outside the points to qualify again this year. The 2016 Bassmaster Classic kicks off the new season in Tulsa, OK, March 4-6.

“Socks are an important part of every fisherman’s set up,” said Montgomery. “Farm to Feet socks keep my feet warm, dry and comfortable, so when I’m on the water I can concentrate on the fish and not worry about my feet.”

All Farm to Feet socks are made completely of American ingredients and feature a Comfort Compression Fit from the top through the arch providing superior comfort and fit while reducing fatigue. Additionally, every Farm to Feet sock has a seamless toe closure for additional comfort.

Last spring Farm to Feet introduced a fishing specific sock, the Blacksburg named for Montgomery’s hometown in South Carolina. The Blacksburg is knit with a combination of US-sourced nylons and elastic yarns in a unique design that allows water drain quickly. Additionally, one of the yarns used in the construction is a PTFE nylon that not only sheds water, but also dries quickly and provides UV protection. Blacksburg socks are offered in low ($16) and quarter crew heights ($17) and in white, black, and tan colors.

Throughout the year Montgomery will participate in retailer events on behalf of Farm to Feet and will be included in marketing initiatives. Farm to Feet has supported Montgomery since 2014.

Follow Montgomery throughout the season on his Facebook page.
