Blue Hill, ME – July 15, 2010 – Hydro-Photon, Inc., the leader in handheld UV water purifiers, announced today their latest product innovation, the SteriPEN® Sidewinder, the world’s first battery-free, portable UV water purifier.
The SteriPEN Sidewinder features an exclusive UV system that destroys waterborne bacteria, viruses and protozoa such as giardia and cryptosporidium. Its hand-powered system is as efficient as it is effective: just 90 seconds to purify one liter of water. Retailing for $99.95, the Sidewinder purification system includes a SteriPEN Pre-Filter for use prior to treatment if the water contains particulates as well as a one-liter Tritanâ„¢ BPA-free bottle.
Using the Sidewinder is as easy as 1-2-3:
1.Fill BPA-free one-liter bottle (included) and attach the Sidewinder.
2.Flip bottle and Sidewinder upside down and unfold the handle.
3.Crank until green LED indicates successful purification.
