(Jan. 18, 2011) — In an effort to add some pizzazz and fun to the busy streets of Salt Lake City, Utah during the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2011 trade show, Ibex outdoor clothing, maker of fine-grade merino wool performance, has surreptitiously placed knitted Yarn Bomb installations within a two-square block radius of the Salt Palace trade show hall in Salt Lake City, Utah. The installations are temporary and have been designed, created and placed with the assistance of Blazing Needles, a Salt Lake knitting store and community located at 1365 South 1100 East.
Not only do these installations provide beauty and inspiration to the 12,000 trade show participants and Salt Lake natives, they can also help you score new gear from Ibex. How? Follow the easy 1-2-3 steps:
To qualify:
Step 1 – Find the Ibex Yarn Bomb installation, located somewhere within a two block radius of the Salt Palace
Step 2 – Take a picture of the Ibex Yarn Bomb installation and either:
A – Twitter – Upload to Twitter via TwitPic, yFrog, Flickr.. and include @ibexwool and #orshow in your post
B – Facebook – Upload to your Facebook page, tag @ibexwool and @outdoorretailer in the photo
Step 3 – That’s it. You’re qualified to win prizes at the Ibex booth (#36085) during our happy hour event on Saturday, Jan. 22 beginning at 4:30pm.
