Fischer Skis Announces Hire of New National Competition Manager, Rush Hawkins

AUBURN, N.H. — Fischer Skis is pleased to announce the recent hire of
Rush Hawkins
who will serve as the company’s national competition manager, as well as UVEX’s sales manager. Hawkins joins Fischer having already spent his career in the ski industry beginning as a promotions director for Volkl and more recently as an independent sales rep with five brands in his portfolio. Prior to his career in the ski industry, Rush was a four-year varsity racer and three-year captain of the UMass, Amherst Alpine Ski Team.
“Rush comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in not just the competition segment but all aspects of the alpine winter sports market,” says Scott Ford, Fischer’s alpine director. “We couldn’t imagine a better candidate for these roles.”
Fischer decided to fill the two positions, national competition manager and sales manager for UVEX, because of the shared strategic direction between each.
