Spring-Summer 2015 Collection Available Beginning in February 2015

(Boulder, CO) August 6, 2014— In Spring-Summer 2015, heritage outdoor brand Fjällräven will expand its technical outdoor collection with lightweight outerwear and apparel. The seasonal offering for men will debut new performance fabrications fit for warm weather pursuits, as well as updates to time-tested silhouettes. Ranging in price from $55.00 to $260.00, the Fjällräven Spring-Summer 2015 collection will be available beginning in February 2015 at specialty outdoor stores, the brand’s flagship retail locations and online at

Since the launch of its first outerwear silhouette, the Greenland Jacket, in the 1960s, Fjällräven remains rooted in technical jacket design. Each season the brand innovates the category with fresh materials and a modern take on classic silhouettes. In Spring 2015, Fjällräven will launch several new jacket designs, including a new hybrid material shell, the Abisko Lite Jacket, as well as a revival of popular heritage silhouette, the Räven Jacket.

Abisko Lite Jacket, $250.00

Built for warm weather trekking, the Abisko Lite Jacket combines waxed G-1000® Lite and stretch fabrications in a lightweight soft-shell that provides durability and wind protection, while offering freedom of movement. The jacket features a fixed, adjustable hood and a two-way front zipper with press button closure at the bottom of the internal flap. Additional features include: Velcro adjustments at the sleeve cuffs and two, large zippered chest pockets with a stretch fabric lining that can expand to fit essentials. The Abisko Lite Jacket is offered in four colors: Dark Grey, Cork, Lake Blue and Dark Olive.

Abisko Hybrid Jacket, $200.00

Introduced in Spring 2014, the Abisko Hybrid Jacket returns for Spring 2015 in updated seasonal colors: a vibrant yellow, Campfire Yellow; a rich blue, Lake Blue; and a lighter shade of forest green, Pine Green. The jacket features a combination of G-1000® Lite and Microtravel (MT) fabrications that provide weather resistance, promote breathability and wick moisture. The lightweight layer can be waxed to increase wind and water resistance. Additional features include: a fixed adjustable hood, a loop finish at sleeve cuffs, mesh ventilation yoke and eyelets located under the arms as well as two large zip closure pockets.

High Coast Wind Anorak, $180.00

The High Coast Wind Anorak debuts a new polyamide-cotton fabrication fit for summer weather. The lightweight material is highly breathable and dries quickly making the anorak a versatile outerwear option for hiking, cycling and kayaking. The pullover silhouette features adjustable pulls at the hood and bottom hem to help seal out wind on harsher days. The kangaroo pocket doubles as a pack bag for easy transport. The High Coast Wind Anorak is offered in three colors: UN Blue, Navy and Olive. The material will also be offered in a full-zip silhouette, the High Coast Wind Jacket (MSRP $200.00).

Räven Jacket, $250.00

The Räven Jacket is a re-launch of a classic Fjällräven model from the 1970s. The timeless piece has a similar silhouette to the iconic Greenland Jacket, with a lighter, foldaway hood. The piece features a G-1000® Eco fabrication constructed from a blend of natural waxed recycled polyester and organic cotton. A two-way zipper with buttoned wind flap, combined with a drawstring at the bottom hem provides protection from the elements. Additional features include: two bellow pockets placed at the chest, two larger bellow pockets with side openings at bottom front of jacket, a drawstring waist cord and button adjustments at sleeve ends. The Räven Jacket is offered in classic Fjällräven hues: Sand, Uncle Blue, Green and Dark Navy.

Fjällräven will expand its apparel collection with premium options in the base and mid-layer categories. Technical fabrications promote breathability and provide lightweight protection from mild winds.

Kiruna Light Sweater, $120.00

The Kiruna Light Sweater is a lightweight piece built for layering. The top features a classic crew-neck sweatshirt cut with a reverse weave knit. A blend of cotton, viscose, polyester and silk, the Kiruna Light Sweater provides comfort and protection for mild winds. A leather tab at the hem provides a touch of premium detail. The sweater is offered in a trio of neutral hues, including: a light grey, Fog; a charcoal-inspired tone, Mountain Grey; and Dark Navy.

Abisko Fleece Hoodie, $250.00

A new technical mid-layer, the Abisko Fleece Hoodie undergoes a solution dye process that simultaneously spins and dyes the garment to reduce water and energy usage, as well as carbon dioxide emissions. A four-way stretch fabrication allows for unrestricted movement and also helps wick moisture away from base layers. Additional features include: flatlock seams, a zippered chest pocket with mesh lining, two hand pockets, elastic cuff sleeves with thumb holes and elastic binding at the hood and hem. The Abisko Fleece Hoodie is available in four colors: Campfire Yellow, Lake Blue, Pine Green and Black.

Abisko Trail T-Shirt, $55.00

The Abisko Trail T-Shirt features a functional wool and Tencel blend fabrication that wicks moisture and prevents odor. A slightly longer cut at the back, raglan sleeves and a round-shaped neck combine for a flattering fit. The essential basic is offered in six colors, from a vibrant yellow to a classic olive green.

From the award-winning Keb Trousers, suited for alpine trekking, to the Karl Trousers, a convertible option fit for general outdoor use and travel, the Fjällräven pant and short offering is built with mobility and durability in mind and provides a wide range of options to fit any activity. The brand will expand in this top-selling category with the introduction of new lightweight, technical options suited for warmer weather: the Abisko Lite Trousers and the Abisko Lite Shorts.

Abisko Lite Trousers, $170.00

The Abisko Lite Trousers debut as a lightweight, well-ventilated pant for warm weather outdoor pursuits. A combination of stretch fabrication and reinforced G-1000® Lite panels lend to a free range of movement and durability in hardwearing areas. The pant features a zippered leg pocket on the side of the right leg with an internal phone pocket and two hand pockets. The Abisko Lite Trousers will be offered in three classic colors: charcoal, khaki and olive green.

Abisko Lite Shorts, $120.00

The Abisko Lite Shorts feature the same stretch fabrication as the new Abisko Lite Jacket and Abisko Lite Trousers. The waist has a higher rise in the back to provide comfort when wearing a backpack. A zippered leg pocket on the right side, a zippered back pocket and two hand pockets provide quick access to essentials. The short will be offered in four colors: Dark Grey, Cork, Lake Blue and Dark Olive.
