MOUNT JULIET, TN. – Fleet Feet Sports, the largest franchisor of locally owned running stores, announces plans for the opening of its newest location in Tennessee.
Krista Dugosh, a board certified pedorthist and the current owner of the Fleet Feet Sports in Murfreesboro, will open a second location in Mt. Juliet later this spring. The new store will open in the Graves Crossing retail center located at 630 South Mount Juliet Road.
“Opening the second store in Mount Juliet means so much to me and my family,” says Dugosh. “We have been passionate about building and supporting an active running community in Murfreesboro, and we look forward to doing the same in Mt. Juliet.”
Dugosh opened the Murfreesboro location in 2007. As she did with her first store, Dugosh will focus on creating a community hub for runners at the Mt. Juliet location by providing expert shoe fittings, supportive training programs, complimentary injury screenings, and a variety of local outreach programs and events.
“Our staff is really the key in why we can do what we do,” says Dugosh. “They work hard to create a really fantastic in-store experience and stay very involved in the local community. I’m excited that we’ll soon be able to support people from two locations.”
The Mt. Juliet store becomes the third Fleet Feet Sports store announced as opening in Tennessee this year, joining planned locations in Chattanooga and Collierville. The leader in franchising locally owned-and-operated, community-oriented running stores, Fleet Feet Sports supports its stores from its headquarters in Carrboro, N.C. and will celebrate its 40th year as a brand in 2016.
