STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT (Jun. 16, 2021) – LOWA Boots, the global footwear brand known for its nearly 100 years of hand-crafted European heritage, today announced the re-opening of its Demo Centers in the U.S. As of Memorial Day, consumers may try LOWA boots before they buy at four locations at national parks and outdoor centers throughout the United States. 2021 also marks the 10th year since opening its first Demo Centers.
“The return of our Demo Centers couldn’t come at a better time, especially as we return to normal and interest in outdoor pursuits surges,” said Peter Sachs, general manager of LOWA. “The centers allow consumers to experience footwear styles prior to purchasing, especially important for those new to the outdoors. Fit and comfort are key criteria for selecting the right footwear when it comes to outdoor activities and giving buyers first-hand experience will aid in making the right choice.” Popular LOWA styles that are available to demo include the Camino GTX, Lady Light GTX, Renegade GTX Mid, Innox Pro GTX Mid, and for kids, the Ledro GTX Mid Junior.
LOWA Demo Centers are located at: the YMCA of the Rockies Estes Park Center, Estes Park, Colorado; The Stephen and Betsy Corman AMC Harriman Outdoor Center in Haverstraw, New York; the Appalachian Mountain Clubs (AMC) at the Joe Dodge Lodge in Jackson, New Hampshire and the Mohican Outdoor Center in Blairstown, New Jersey.
