Uncertainly over Tariffs Requires Footwear Makers to Reconsider Design and Production Schedules
BOULDER, CO (September 21, 2009) – Outdoor Industry Association® (OIA) and Sorini, Samet & Associates will host a conference call on Thursday, September 24 to update member companies on the miscellaneous tariff bill (MTB) process in the United States Congress. While covering general information about this year’s Senate MTB, OIA will specifically provide an update regarding the extension of the twelve water resistant footwear MTBs from 2006 that will expire at the end of this year.
