Forsake Wins SHAPE Magazine’s 2017 Sneaker Award

Boston, MA – Forsake, creators of footwear that blends comfort, performance and style through functional design and practical technology, is proud to announce that their Women’s Duck boot received the 2017 SHAPE Sneaker Award.
More than 100 submissions were received for this year’s SHAPE Sneaker Awards.Across 12 categories, submissions were narrowed down to 35 shoes for testing in conditions appropriate for the type of shoe by multiple testers. From there, winners were chosen with the Forsake Women’s Duck boot winningthe hike category.
“Outdoorswomen no longer have to choose between a casual sneaker and a clunky hiking boot!” said Jack Knoll, marketing director for Forsake. “We’re thrilled that SHAPE awarded the Duck for the hiking category, giving further credence to Forsake’s hybrid sneakerboot approach.”

The Forsake Duck, made of premium waterproof leathers and suede, puts a modern sneaker spin on a heritage design.
