Osage, Iowa — Fox River, maker of premium performance socks and the Original Rockford Red Heel® monkey sock, will appear with Santa Barbara-based Riviera Club Clothing in their appearance at New York Fashion Week on February 11 at the Bowery Hotel. Riviera Club defines casual luxury for some of the world’s most influential retailers, combining exceptional fabrics innovative details and genuine authenticity.

The Autumn/Winter 2011 Riviera Club Collection is inspired by California’s Wine Renaissance to re-interpret the idea of rugged workwear, a place that they found at the intersection of blue-collar chic and polished dishevelment. Riviera Club is resolutely inspired by the California’s past to create wearable clothing for the casual gentlemen of today. Riviera Club can be found at international retailers such as Opening Ceremony, I’Eclaireur in Paris, Ron Herman, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdales.

Riviera Club approached Fox River to be their exclusive sock and handwear partner because the brand makes many timeless styles that blend well with the details of the collection, including a dark palette of tailored suiting, colored corduroys, oversized herringbone, unique plaids and patterns and the classic Riviera Club knit collection of henleys, panel tees, dress sweats and embroidered sweatshirts.

Riviera Club will feature Fox River socks and handwear during their Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection preview on February 11, 2011 at 8 p.m. at The Bowery Hotel at 335 Bowery, New York, NY. Styles featured will include the ever-popular Original Rockford Red Heel® monkey sock (style 6851); classic ragg wool and cotton ragg socks (styles 2389, 2689, 2784, 2789); thermal over-the-calf hunting socks (styles 7267, 7359, 7586); military and workwear socks (styles 6074, 6078, 6624, 6650); and traditional ragg wool handwear, including fingerless gloves (styles 9591, 9991, 9300 and 9366).

“We were a perfect fit for Riviera Club because we have been part of the workwear movement since 1900 under the Fox River® brand, and since 1880 under the Original Rockford Red Heel® brand,” said Jennifer Whitley, Fox River Brand Manager. “Our classic styles, such as traditional ragg wool and over-the-calf boot socks, pair great with this rugged workwear inspired collection.”
