BOZEMAN, Montana – With the season officially changed from summer to autumn it means anglers across the country are also transitioning into their fall fishing mode.
Simms Fishing Products has updated their line of layering garments to help anglers stay warm, dry and comfortable as they continue to chase fish while the weather and water turns cooler.
“We have a number of new, high-performance options for anglers who require layers for additional warmth,” said Diane Bristol, Director or Marketing and Brand Management for Simms. “Like all of our products, these layering items are designed specifically for anglers.”
Simms’ expanded Fall Layering Line includes new DownUnder™ Merino Wool bottoms and tops that provide unsurpassed warmth and moisture management. The new DownUnder Merino Zip-Top ($99.95) and the DownUnder Merino Bottom ($89.95) are both exceptionally comfortable and the natural fiber is odor-resistant.
For options to wear atop the base layer, anglers can choose between two warm sweaters (the stylish Rivershed™ Cardigan or the Rivershed ™ Crew) or a pair of fleece tops – the Guide Fleece Top or the WaderWick™ Fleece top. The Guide Fleece Pant provides a comfortable second layer, too, and is designed to be worn under Simms’ award-winning waders.
