G3 Hires The Apex Group Sales Team for Pacific Northwest

Vancouver, British Columbia (January 9, 2014) – G3 Genuine Guide Gear Inc. hired David Gunther and The Apex Group sales team to represent its sales division in the Pacific Northwest. Gunther brings more than 10 years of experience working in the outdoor industry for Patagonia, Columbia and Cascade Designs to G3’s sales team.
“David’s experience with some of the top outdoor brands gives him the depth of industry knowledge, organization and service orientation that customers expect from G3,” said Gord Bailey, Marketing and Sales Director for G3. “His passion for backpacking, rock climbing and back country skiing give him both the insight and user experience that will make him a resource for our growing customer base. We are excited to have him join our incredible sales team.”
Based out of Seattle, Wash., Gunther will handle G3’s new 2014-2015 collection in the states of Wash., Ore., Idaho, Mont., and Alaska. Originally from N.J., Gunther moved out west to pursue his passion for the outdoors. He spends is free time in the Cascade Mountains, skiing, climbing and backpacking, and volunteering with the American Alpine Club’s Northwest Chapter.
The Apex Group will be showing the G3 line at the upcoming Portland, Ore., show, January 7-9, 2014 as well as at G3’s Outdoor Retailer Booth #34087 and SIA Booth #3326.
