After its first year of delivering shoes to key retail partners in North America, Garmont continues with strong momentum delivering a full collection of all new Fall and Winter footwear for 2017. Boots and shoes inspired by mountain adventures are in new categories including: Hike, Active Travel and Active Winter. All Garmont boots are designed to be gender-specific. Women’s boots are built with a women’s-specific last and enhanced features. All new products will be available at retail in August 2017.

SANTIAGO: Hike the World
Whatever your destination, get ready to hike the world with the new Garmont Santiago GTX®. This lightweight, less bulky, mid-cut hiking boot features a suede leather upper with a mesh collar for added breathability and a heel lock system that helps secure the heel to prevent slip and blisters. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining offers durable waterproof protection and optimized breathability while the Vibram® outsole with Megagrip compound offers unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The Santiago GTX®, is also available in a low cut option, is ideal for on- and off-trail day trips and for everyday activities.
MIGUASHA NUBUCK GTX: The Perfect Companion for the World Traveler
The Miguasha National Park, located on the east coast of Quebec, Canada, offers one of the most beautiful landscapes of maritime Gaspesie. Miguasha National Park along with Yellowstone National Park, Okavanga Delta in Botswania, the Lut Desert in Iran, the Kilimanjaro National Park in Tanzania and the Dolomite mountains in Italy are all World Heritage Sites known for their natural and geologic history. The adventure traveler is the inspiration for the new Miguasha Nubuck FG. It is a lightweight shoe featuring an oiled nubuck leather upper and featuring a beautiful full grain leather lining. The Miguasha is available in three different colorways for men and two for women.
The innovative heel lock system helps secure the heel to prevent slip and blisters. The Vibram® outsole offers unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces for a secure footing on variable terrain. The Miguasha Nubuck GTX is also available with the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining offering durable waterproof protection and optimized breathability. Both the leather lined and GTX versions are available in a low cut option.
USHUAYA GTX®: The Cold Snow and Ice, Now Have an Adventure Companion
Ushuaia, commonly regarded as the southernmost city in the world, is located on the southern coast of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego (Argentina). It is bounded on the north by the snowcapped Martial mountain range and on the south by the icy waters of the Beagle Channel. An important adventure hub and active gateway to Antarctica, many Antarctic adventures depart from its port. Cold weather athletic capability is what characterizes this boot. The Ushuaya GTX® provides light weight, insulated performance for a variety of climate conditions in a waterproof/breathable mid-cut design. The Heel Lock system secures the rear foot to prevent slip and blisters and a GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort lining offers protection and comfort in cold weather conditions. Two layers of EVA in the midsole provide exceptional shock absorption while the Vibram® Fast Trail outsole with Icetrek compound offers super grip on icy surfaces and cold terrain.
