Gary Bryant to become VP Sales for Arc’teryx Equipment Inc.

Gary Bryant, European Brand Manager for Arc’teryx, will be taking the newly created position of Vice President of Sales.

The Vancouver-based position will be responsible for worldwide sales for the brand. Bryant is taking over the Sales responsibilities of current Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, Bob Holding, who is partnering with Jim Purdy to create Waypoint Outdoor, a new sales agency servicing the Pacific Northwest.

Bryant will relocate to Vancouver in August and will be training with Holding through the end of the year.

“Gary is a core part of our team. He has been tremendously successful growing our European Business, and his extensive product background makes him a natural choice” said Tyler Jordan, President & CEO. “In addition to replacing Gary’s role as European Brand Manager, we will be hiring a Vice President of Marketing in the coming months. Bob & I will work extensively with the new VPs to ensure a smooth transition over the balance of the year.”
