Japanese Premium Ski Apparel brand Goldwin announced today the launch of its first original Spring Summer 2017 capsule collection, which features three distinct GORE-TEX shells, versatile layering pieces and durable menswear for everyday living. The collection is a cohesive selection of the well-traveled man’s “go-to” staples for weekend adventures. The Hooded Spur Coat is engineered in Japan with 3-Layer GORE-TEX and highly robust 70-denier fabric, originally developed for cold weather high altitude climbing. The durable fabric has a soft cotton feel, backed by complete seam-sealing to prevent moisture penetration in any environment. The relaxed fit offers a long silhouette and 6 unique pockets provide thoughtful storage of a passport, a stray scarf, or the latest issue of your favorite magazine. For those who prefer a more traditional silhouette, Goldwin offers the 3-Layer GORE-TEX Mountain Jacket, which hits the top of the hip and shields the face from the wind with a high collar.

The Hooded Pullover Shirt is constructed with Pertex Microlite ripstop, a 100% nylon fabric that performs as a lightweight wind shell, an everyday layering piece, and a lightweight garment that packs easily into its own pocket, perfect for travel. Ultrasonic welding creates smart seams through the shoulders and the textured yarn is water repellent.

Vintage polyester double weave fabric harkens back to old school mountaineering fabric on the Hooded Pullover jacket. Minimalist zippers and a high collar create a modern silhouette with soft shell fabric and a technical sportswear fit.

The water-repellent Packable Windbreaker crosses sportswear genres as a windbreaker and training shell, with textured yarn that provides elasticity for a run or a stroll.

The collection incorporates multiple pants fits, from the classic Regular Chino Trousers to the articulated Spur Hiking Chino and the cinched waist cuffed Spur Pants. Pants and surf shorts deliver a cotton-like texture in a quick-drying vintage stretch twill fabric. 

The collection is complete with a variety of understated quick drying button up shirts with unique design details and thoughtful features like passport-sized pockets and ski-inspired design lines.
