GoLite Taps Flanagan to Lead
European Apparel & Equipment Sales

As GoLite expands its presence in the international marketplace, the company is pleased to announce the appointment of outdoor industry leader Mark Flanagan as European General Manager in charge of GoLite’s European apparel and equipment sales. While Mr. Flanagan will be based in Britain, he will be joining an experienced and dedicated management team in GoLite’s Boulder, Colorado headquarters.

“GoLite is experiencing high double digit growth. As we continue to grow and deepen our presence within specialty outdoor worldwide, we are expanding our management team to meet that growth,” said GoLite co-founder and President Demetri Coupounas. “Flan brings over a decade of strategic sales leadership experience from the outdoor industry as well as deep apparel and footwear expertise to his new role, and we’re excited to welcome him to our team.”

Mr. Flanagan brings deep experience within the sports and outdoor market. Prior to joining GoLite, he served for over seven years in senior sales management positions at Columbia Sportswear in the UK. Prior to Columbia, he served as UK Midlands and Southwest Sales Representative at Berghaus, and before that he was at Reebok for 3 years.

In his free time, Mark is an avid outdoorsman and music collector who enjoys all outdoor pursuits, especially hiking and backpacking in his new high altitude headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. He also enjoys football (soccer) and spending time with his family. He has one daughter with his wife Dina.
