GoMotion Announces New Lighting Systems, Updated Battery Management System for Winter 2015

Wareham, MA] GoMotion®, manufacturer of wearable lighting systems for runners, walkers, xc skiers, and anyone adventuring outside after the sun goes down, will be launching an updated lightvest and new minimal waist lightbelt at Winter OR. Building on the popularity of its REACTOR LightVest, an official wearable lighting system of the Ragnar Relay Series in 2014, GoMotion has made significant updates and additions to the vest, along with adding a new minimal lightbelt to the line.
REACTOR™ 2 (MSRP: $84.95)
The popular REACTOR LightVest has been completely redesigned with a better fit and updated features. At 1/2 the weight, the full coverage vest offers 2 front pockets for holding gels, cell phone, etc., increased vertical adjustability of the sternum light, and an additional sternum strap, all adding to a more secure and comfortable fit. The REACTOR 2 also offers a more powerful 150 lumen Cree LED sternum light and a new lighter battery management system powered by rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries. Known for performing better in low temperatures, the Lithium-Ion batteries maintain the same run times as the previous system (8h/18h/54h) with the ease of recharging via the universal mini USB port. An additional back pocket brings more storage to the vest while the rear red LEDs incorporate a new flashing pattern for better visibility.
ORION™ LiteBelt (MSRP: $69.95)
A lighter, more minimal waist lightbelt for those looking for just a lighting source, will also be launched at the OR Show. With 2 waist size options (Small/Medium and Large/X-Large), ORION will feature a powerful 150 lumen Cree LED front light with the new rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery management system found in the REACTOR 2. A new flashing pattern for the rear red LEDs and a removable cell phone case come standard, while detachable hydration bottles can be added as accessories.
REACTOR 2 and ORION will be available to retailers in February.
