Booth sets stage for growing Natural Performance Technology (NPT) Clothing
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, January 11, 2011 (OR Booth #9001) – Celebrating its 28th anniversary at the Outdoor Retailer Show, Gramicci is unveiling their sixth artfully eco-friendly, all recycled booth, another example of Gramicci’s ongoing dedication to significantly reduce its environmental impact at the Outdoor Retailer Show.
Conceived by Marty Weening, Gramicci’s President, and built by Brad Smith of Salt Design, the booth is made of all local materials and stored in locally, eliminating environmental impact from transporting the installation from California. In order to highlight the product, Weening came up with an all black design. Everything, including the shipping palette walls, particle board floors, bamboo wood chairs, as well as the reused steel and wood in store fixtures and sorghum tables will all be finished black. Over the past 5 years, Gramicci has designed sustainable booths and received accolades for their designs, including nominations and awards from the SNEWS BOB-Best of Booth environmental awards Summer 2007, Winter 2008 and Summer 2009.
“The all black booth is an ideal backdrop for featuring Gramicci’s popular Natural Performance Technology (NPT) products. We have made great strides in developing an organic and recycled collection that is exceeding performance expectations.” says Marty Weening, President, Gramicci.
