Chicago, IL & Salt Lake City, UT – (January 6, 2016) – Grand Trunk, makers of goods for the road, is proud to introduce the ONEMADE collection of limited edition, US-Made hammocks and Trunk Straps. Set to debut at the 2016 Outdoor Retailer Winter Market, ONEMADE symbolizes the complex journey of American manufacturing and one brand’s initiative to revitalize our nation’s manufacturing capabilities.

Inspired by consumer demand, Grand Trunk will unveil five new Hammocks and a set of Trunk Straps that are made in the United States from sourcing and stitching to dying and assembly. The brand strives for constant innovation to match the needs of its customers and notes that: “We embrace customer feedback and suggestions, which directly led to the development of ONEMADE,” Jon Neff, co-founder of Grand Trunk. “We’re proud to see our products rolling off the mills with the word ‘Made in America’ emblazoned alongside Grand Trunk, and to bolster our nation’s industrial capacity and manufacturing jobs.”

After securing a partnership with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Grand Trunk went on to source US-made fabrics, ensuring the ONEMADE collection is not just assembled in the U.S., but is truly made in America. The same facility is working to develop an apprenticeship program with local universities, signaling a long-term investment in training and development to effectively create a highly skilled workforce.

The collection features an exclusive MARPAT™ camouflage print single hammock, plus four Double Hammocks designed to be the lightest, most spacious on the market. Accompanied by a set of US-made Trunk Straps measuring 14-feet long, the straps are both the lightest and longest available allowing for quick and easy set up virtually anywhere.

Featuring unique contrast binding and proprietary TRUNKTECH™ nylon that’s strong, lightweight, breathable and smooth. Cinched at the ends with continuous webbing loops featuring T70 seatbelt stitching.
