Grand Trunk Teams Up with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics in Celebration of Earth Day

Outdoor and travel gear brand donates 10-percent of online sales in April to support Leave No Trace

Skokie, IL — (April 9, 2014) –Grand Trunk, makers of goods for the road less traveled, celebrates Earth Day this month with a fundraising campaign in support of the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. From April 1st through April 22nd, 10-percent of proceeds from all customer purchases online at www.grandtrunkgoods.com will be donated to Leave No Trace and the National Forest Foundation.

“We take great pride in our partnership with Leave No Trace and we’re excited to broaden that support in honor of Earth Day this month,” states Jon Neff, co-founder and VP of sales and marketing for Grand Trunk. “As an outdoor gear manufacturer, it is our duty to protect and preserve the natural world, and we hope this contribution will help further Leave No Trace outreach and education programs.”

Leave No Trace is a member and partner-driven non-profit organization that teaches skills and ethics to help people enjoy the outdoors responsibly and minimize environmental impacts on public lands. The funds raised by Grand Trunk this month will directly support the Leave No Trace mission to ensure long-term sustainability of our natural world through targeted education and outreach. Thanks to a common bond and love for the outdoors, Leave No Trace and outdoor industry brands like Grand Trunk are building the bridge between environmental sustainability and outdoor recreation.
