Granite Gear 2017 Campus Pack Collection is Rock Solid

The sleek yet versatile Granite Gear Campus Collection continues to grow in its fourth year and shows off the load-carrying expertise that has been the brand’s strength for over 30 years, while also adding in modern design and necessities. In Spring 2017, the collection will expand to include three new backpacks, totaling 16, that will appeal to urbanites, commuters, weekend travelers and students.
“We are passionate about addressing our consumers growing needs, and about staying keen to how our consumers are evolving. We are working to create the most versatile backpacks that address both the needs of urban commuters and weekend backpackers,” said Senior Director of Design & Development Michael Meyer.
New to the collection are the Bourbonite, Cadence and Two Harbors (in order above). The packs were designed for those who are rough on gear, and are made of Repala-X-Fabric with Barrier water-repellant coating, which is burly and super water and abrasion-resistant. They also serve the electronic-savvy user with a padded laptop sleeve, a dedicated tablet sleeve, and a Barrier tricot-lined pocket for cameras, cell phones or sunglasses. For ultimate comfort, the packs have high density EVA foam shoulder straps and compression-molded back panel. The three packs vary between 25-29 liters. MSRP: $79-$99.
