Granite Gear’s VP Signs on as New Member of Warrior Expeditions Board of Directors

Granite Gear, manufacturer of outdoor backpacks and travel goods, is proud to share the appointment of their VP, Rob Coughlin, as a new member of the Warrior Expeditions Board of Directors. Granite Gear has sponsored Warrior Expeditions since 2013 with an unlimited supply of multi-day backpacks and organizational sacks. A wilderness enthusiast and supporter of protecting our public lands, Coughlin will bring great insight to the organization.

In 2018, Warrior Expeditions will add a total 4 new Board of Directors with experience in: veteran affairs, mental health, land management, and outdoor retail. Leveraging this experience, Warrior Expeditions will continue to offer innovative programs helping veterans find peace and healing in the outdoors. As the VP of Marketing & Sales for Granite Gear since 2013, Coughlin’s experience and values align well with Warrior Expedition’s mission.

About Warrior Expeditions
Warrior Expeditions a veteran nonprofit outdoor therapy program that helps veterans transition from their wartime experiences through long distance outdoor expeditions. In 2012, after returning home from three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Marine Corps veteran Sean Gobin hiked all 2,185 miles of the Appalachian Trail. Recognizing the therapeutic effects of long distance hiking, Sean founded Warrior Expeditions which provides veterans with everything they need to complete a long distance outdoor expedition at no cost to the veteran.
