Virginia Beach, VA, — Lillie Gilbert, Owner of Wild River Outfitters, has released her fourth book with Co-Author Vickie Shufer, Wild River Guide to Coastal Waterways from Corolla to Cape Henry. The pair have been local paddling experts in the Chesapeake region for over 30 years. Waterways that are explored and described in this book include Currituck Sound, Knotts Island Bay, Back Bay and its tributaries, Virginia Beach Oceanfront and the Lynnhaven River and its tributaries.

About Wild River Outfitters
Wild River Outfitters grew from backyard boat sales in 1976 with one employee, R.E.B. Stewart, to the incorporated storefront it is today. In 1979 R.E.B. asked paddlers Lillie Gilbert and Nancy Andrews if they wanted to become business partners as the little business grew. Along with hiker Bud Franklin, the 4 partners incorporated in 1980. Although we have grown over the years, our passion for the outdoors has never changed.
