Grassroots Outdoor Alliance Welcomes Mountain Chalet

Grassroots Outdoor Alliance is pleased to announce that Mountain Chalet, based in Colorado Springs, CO, has joined our organization.

Mountain Chalet was founded in 1968 and was the first outdoor specialty shop in Colorado Springs, CO and has always been at it’s original location.

Dan and Marilyn Foster became the owners of Mountain Chalet in 1985. Dan started working at the store in 1981 as a salesperson and later as store manager.

Mountain Chalet’s mission statement reflects it’s high standards and aligns with the other members of Grassroots Outdoor Alliance:

“Mountain Chalet is a specialty outdoor equipment retail store serving the needs of mountain enthusiasts. Our goal is to inform and entertain customers with a knowledgeable, friendly staff who have fun merchandising and selling the highest quality outdoor products in a relaxed, unique atmosphere. Mountain Chalet warrants every product sold to the satisfaction of the customer.”
