GRAYL® Names Chris Lowe Director of Sales

Will lead expanded rep force and grow US sales footprint

SEATTLE, WA (December 1, 2020) — GRAYL®, maker of innovative water purifiers purpose-built for adventure, has named Chris Lowe as Director of Sales. Lowe joins a team dedicated to bringing best-in-class water filtration and purification products to outdoor and travel enthusiasts. He will work alongside company President and CEO, Andrew Weber, and Co-Founder, Travis Merrigan, and is tasked with building out and managing GRAYL’s nationwide group of sales reps while implementing a strategic sales plan to fuel continued growth of the brand across categories.

“This is a truly fantastic team full of entrepreneurial spirit that has proven it can create innovative, award-winning products,” said Lowe. “I look forward to building a strong wholesale business and rep force focused on outstanding service and transparency, bringing GRAYL to new consumers around the world.”

Lowe joins the team with over 20 years of experience working at outdoor industry-leading organizations like REI, ExOfficio, and, most recently, Cascade Designs where Lowe held the Director of Sales position over its five brands.

“GRAYL’s continued success is a testament to its growing team of innovators and experienced leaders,” said Andrew Weber, CEO, GRAYL. “With Chris taking the sales helm, we see new avenues for growth as we expand our footprint to new rep groups and retail locations across the country.”

GRAYL’s award-winning water purifiers, including the Ultralight Compact and GeoPress® , allow anyone, anywhere to safely drink from rivers and lakes, to hotel sinks and public fountains while also reducing travelers’ dependency on single-use bottles. Utilizing electroadsorption and ultra-powdered activated carbon in a patented press-to-purify design, GRAYL’s purifiers offer potable water in a matter of seconds. While camping and straw-type water filters fail to protect against viruses, GRAYL purifiers remove viruses, bacteria, parasites and protozoan cysts, as well as many pesticides, chemicals, heavy metals and even microplastics.
