Greenrep.org Expands Green Sales with New Lines: Teko and Lifefactory
–Green Agency with specific distribution for eco-minded manufacturers and retailers

JOHNSON, Vermont, June 8, 2010 – Greenrep.org is proud to announce the addition of Teko Socks and Life Factory water bottles to their strong line of environmentally conscious companies. Teko Socks, located in Boulder, Colorado are the “best socks on the planet, best socks for the planet.” Lifefactory, based in San Francisco, produces BPA-free bottles from medical-grade glass.

Greenrep.org is a sales agency dedicated to selling green products and advancing green initiatives in the surf, skate, snow, and outdoor industries. In addition to helping grow companies dedicated to making Earth a greener place, Greenrep.org donates five percent of all profits to green organizations and educational sources.

With these additions to the already large client base featuring great brands like Gramicci, Hippy Tree, Green Label Organics and Spyder USA, Greenrep.org looks forward to increasing their donations to environmental non-profits.

Teko fits the Greenrep.org ethos by manufacturing the highest quality organic and recycled content performance socks with minimal environmental impact. The company’s signature socks are made from organic merino wool grown in Argentina by family farms with decades of organic experience. The sheep graze in grassland free of pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers, and their feed is 100% organic.

At the factory Teko continues its tradition of careful environmental stewardship. The tekoMERINO is made machine-washable and shrink-proof using a chlorine-free process that is so environmentally friendly it is Bluesign® certified, and the recycled tekoPOLY fiber is made from 100% post-consumer waste. Teko uses non-toxic dyes and uses 100% wind power at the office as well as at the factory.

Greenrep.org is also proud to announce its partnership with Lifefactory, a company that has redesigned drinking bottles and accessories to make them both 100% safe and 100% stylish. All of their products are free of known harmful chemicals, including bisphenol-A phthalates (BPA), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The bottles are made of glass and the bottle components are made with medical grade silicone. The bottles are very easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The bottles are all FDA approved. Lifefactory’s sleek modern designs give their products a sophisticated look that appeals to everyone. Carefully designed packaging minimizes the raw materials needed to ship and display the merchandise.

In the spirit of these new additions to their lineup, Greenrep.org is excited to announce that this month’s 5% profit donation will be given to Outdoor Outreach, an organization that takes inner city youth on life-changing trips to the outdoors. In nine years, Outdoor Outreach has taken more than 3,500 youth on outings that include rock climbing, snowboarding, surfing, and snorkeling. Outdoor Outreach changes lives forever, one at a time, and Greenrep.org is proud to lend them support.
