GU Energy Labs Becomes USA Triathlon Official Sponsor

GU Energy Labs, the original sports energy gel provider, today announced a three-year agreement to become the official and exclusive Energy Gel and Chew provider of USA Triathlon. The agreement also appoints GU Energy as an official Silver-Level Sponsor of USA Triathlon.

The activation of the agreement will focus significantly on product distribution to the organization’s National Team Program, certified coaches and certified race directors, as well as USA Triathlon’s National Championship events, including the Collegiate National Championship, the Duathlon National Championship, the Youth and Junior National Championship and the Age Group National Championship in 2011. Additionally, GU will offer to provide products for on-course support for all 10 USA Triathlon Regional Championships.

At a grass-roots level, the agreement benefits the 135,000 annual members of USA Triathlon by providing race and training nutrition for coaching clinics, USA Triathlon Starter Kits, the annual Race Director Symposium, race director support programs and club rewards programs.
