GU Energy Labs Expands Team with New Staff

Performance-tested nutrition brand, GU Energy Labs, today announced several key additions to their growing team of experts, including Randy Parco as Director of Quality, Sholeh Esmaili-Montoya as Director of Human Resources, Pamela Kennedy as Product Manager, and Celia Santi as Sports Marketing Manager: Run/Tri/Outdoor. In addition, Yuri Hauswald steps into a new role as Sports Marketing Manager: Bike.

 Randy Parco brings more than 20 years of food production, quality, and regulatory experience to his new role as GU Energy Labs’ Director of Quality. Randy is responsible for managing all aspects of product compliance and quality. He joins GU from Clif Bar, where he was Food Safety & Integrity Manager.

Sholeh Esmaili-Montoya brings eleven years of senior HR experience to her role as GU’s Director of Human Resources. She is a hands-on and strategic HR leader who is focused on building strong teams based on GU’s culture and core values of athleticism, accountability, collaboration, innovation, longevity, and love.

Pamela Kennedy brings more than five years of experience in product development and marketing, including time at Athleta and the San Francisco Marathon. Pam is an avid runner, a team and board member of the Impala Racing cycling team, and is involved in the Outdoor Industry Women’s Coalition and National Parks Service.

Celia Santi joins GU Energy Labs from San Diego-based Competitor Group, where she coordinated client activations and oversaw event sponsorships and licensees. She brings over seven years of marketing, promotions and creative strategy experience to her new role at GU. In her new role, Celia will manage run, triathlon and outdoor partnerships, athlete team and event activations.

Yuri Hauswald has been working with GU since 2011 as Brand Specialist. A competitive cyclist and social media ninja, Yuri now will focus exclusively on bringing the GU stoke with cycling athletes, events and partnerships.
