SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 2, 2012) – To showcase and highlight the versatility of H20 Audio products across a broad range of markets, the company today annouced the launch of a new brand identity, X-1 Powered by H2O Audio.
Proudly introducing a new name, logo and product categories, X-1 willmaintain the same high end quality and technology that has been part of the brand since its inception. Inspired by the Bell X-1, the first aircraft to break the sound barrier, X-1 has created a line of products that break down barriers, allowing athletes to harness the power of music regardless of their sport or climate.
“There was never a better time to introduce a new logo and branding,” said Dana Swanson, Marketing Director. “Our new branding position tells our existing
customers, and future customers, that we offer the world’s best-performing, most reliable waterproof and sweatproof products that can be used in a wide variety of sport categories.”
The decision to rebrand was made, in part, as a response to industry demand to capture the depth of X-1 product’s end user and the company’s desire to grow their market share. Expanding beyond the watersports markets, the name change allows X-1 to speak directly to other athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
The official launch including a newly designed website and packaging will begin November 2012.
