Legendary 8-Time Mr. Olympia Creates New Event as Final Qualifier for the 2015 NPC Bodybuilding Championships

FAIRFIELD, CALIF. (For Immediate Release) – Harbinger, the “go-to” brand for high quality, innovative strength and conditioning gear, is excited to announce a presenting sponsorship agreement with Lee Haney’s 2015 Physique & Fitness Games being held on October 31, 2015. In its inaugural year, this one-of-a-kind event is dedicated to promoting physical fitness in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. The event will also serve as the final opportunity to qualify for the National Physique Committee (NPC) National Bodybuilding Championships to be held in November 2015.

Lee Haney’s 2015 Physique & Fitness Games is an all-day event at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, GA. The Games will feature a final NPC qualifier in Bodybuilding, Physique, Figure, and Bikini, and qualifiers will advance to the 2015 NPC Championship. Lee Haney’s 2015 Physique & Fitness Games has also partnered with the Strongman Association to host Strongman pro and amateur competitions during the Games. In addition to serious strength events, Lee’s daylong Games will provide fitness fun for the whole family.

Some 700 attendees will have a chance to witness over 300 athletes compete for prizes such as cash, trophies, medallions, and equipment. There will also be a KidZone area featuring games, bouncy houses, moon walks, trick-or-treating, and more.

As 8-time Mr. Olympia, and former chairman of the President’s Council on Fitness and Sports, I worked to improve the health of people through fitness,” says Lee Haney. “We created the Games to promote fitness in a way that appeals to the entire family. And as the final qualifier for the 2015 NPC National Bodybuilding Championship, the event will feature many top competitors.”
