Headsweats Demonstrates Full Confidence in Retailers for 2010

Cincinnati, OH – January 11, 2010 – Headsweats, makers of high-performance, ultra light and supremely wicking hats and visors, is rolling out a new sales program for 2010. The program will assist retailers in the development of a headwear center within their store by offering new point-of-purchase displays, free freight incentives, dating, discounts, and merchandising support.

“Headsweats is taking the lead position with a merchandiser and sales program for performance headwear, as a profit center for retailers,” according to Mike McQueeney, V.P. of Sales.

Prior to 2009, Headsweats grew successfully by leveraging grassroots marketing initiatives. Now, with a recognizable name and proven product, Headsweats is taking the headwear market by force with their crew of more than 20 independent sales reps servicing the endurance and outdoor markets.

“We will continue to promote our popular custom product for stores and events,” says Kay Martin, Headsweats president. “However, our new sales force is tasked with the goal of working directly with retailers to offer increased customer support and assistance in developing Headsweats centers.”

Headsweats is exhibiting at the Winter Outdoor Retailer trade show booth 36137, and will have the new in line merchandising materials on display.
