Headsweats, makers of high-performance, ultra light and supremely wicking hats, announces today a new partnership with North Carolina-based public relations firm Darby Communications. The partnership is effective immediately.
“Headsweats was born out of a love for sports and desire to make them better for others. It’s satisfying to work with clients who share our values and commitment,†states Coral Darby, of Darby Communications,
The initial PR focus revolves around getting Headsweats’ new Eventureâ„¢ Fabric hats and visors on the heads of industry influencers, promoting the launch of Headsweats’ in-store merchandising and sales program, and expanding interest on their already popular custom sublimation capabilities at Winter OR.
“We are thrilled that this partnership coincides with the release of our new Eventure line of hat and visors,†says Kay Martin, Headsweats President. “Darby Communications has the grass roots strength we were looking for to launch this line.â€
Headsweats will be exhibiting at the Winter Outdoor Retailer trade show booth 36137.
Headsweats Perspiration Technology Headwear® was founded in the winter of 1998 by shoe industry veteran and obsessed cyclist, Alan Romick. Frustrated by the perils of heavy sweat blindness, migrating sunscreen and odd sunburn pattern on his head through his helmet, he set out to develop headwear that worked.
Today the Headsweats line includes washable, ultra light and supremely wicking hats that dominate the triathlon, cycling, running, adventure racing and outdoor markets. Success, spirit of innovation, along with unsurpassed customer service, has established Headsweats as a leader within these categories for more than a decade. With a dedication and commitment to cutting-edge materials, advanced designs and fun headwear, the team is consistently looking ahead to new avenues and opportunities. www.headsweats.com
