Headsweats Supports Fundraiser for Jamestown, Colorado Flood Recovery
Cyclists 4 Jamestown event donates funds to Rebuild Jamestown Organization
Boulder, CO – October 22, 2013 – In response to the massive flooding that struck Jamestown, Colorado in September, Headsweats joined the Cyclists 4 Jamestown event in order to raise money for the rebuilding of the town. On Saturday, October 19th the fundraiser raised over $75,000. The proceeds will be donated to the Rebuild Jamestown Organization, which will go towards restoring access, rebuilding infrastructure and supporting people who have lost their homes.
Headsweats donated 100 of their Colorado Flood Relief Collection Race Hats for the cause. The hats were given as a gift with purchase of anything over $50.00 at the fundraiser’s silent auction.
“Jamestown, Colorado is a famous little town with a very tight-knit community, and we want to help bring it back to its original state,” said Mike McQueeney, President of Headsweats. “It was truly inspiring to see so many cyclists, business owners and Colorado citizens come together for this event.”
