May 19, 2011 – The Heliconia Press, a leader in outdoors media for over a decade, is excited to announce its production of Facing Waves – North America’s only paddling TV series. Facing Waves will air on Outside Television in spring, 2012.
Hosted by World Champion and renowned paddler, Ken Whiting, Facing Waves will be an exciting, inspiring and informative TV series that features spectacular whitewater, sea kayaking, stand up paddling, canoeing and kayak fishing adventures in stunning locations around the world. Every 30-minute episode will include a valuable paddling tip, gear guide, and a special segment about the environmental / conservation challenges facing the region.
