Beachburg, Ontario, (November 25, 2009), The Heliconia Press, a leading publisher of books, and producer of TV and DVDs on outdoor pursuits, is thrilled to announce the release of its latest book, Kayak Bass Fishing by renowned bass angler Chad Hoover.
Although the book provides a great introduction to kayak fishing , all anglers, whether interested in kayak fishing or not, will benefit immensely from the bass fishing secrets and strategies that Chad shares—tricks that he’s learned from years of catching trophy bass.
James Hall, Editor of Bassmaster magazine calls Kayak Bass Fishing “A must read for bass anglers looking to paddle their way to bigger bass. From gear selection to safety considerations to advanced fishing tactics, Hoover has covered all the bases for fishermen entering the sport. Kayak Bass Fishing is not only informative, but Hoover’s writing style will keep you chuckling until the end.”
The book couldn’t be releasing at a better time. Although kayak fishing has been booming in popularity over the past five years, the growth has largely come within the smaller saltwater fishing market. Now that the sport is gaining real traction in the much larger freshwater fishing market, there is a common belief that kayak fishing is on the verge of exploding. “As the sport continues to gain momentum in the freshwater fishing world, I expect we’ll see kayak fishing grow more aggressively than it already has. It’s an exciting time to be involved!”, says Ken Whiting, Publisher of The Heliconia Press.
